David Sullivan’s real estate background encompasses both commercial and residential property management. Throughout his 22-year career, Mr. Sullivan has worked for or with a list of Owners and Developers, including Goldfarb Properties, NYPH and now currently with NYP-Queens.


Mr. Sullivan spent ten years at Mayherhauser Realty Inc. as a Portfolio/Property Manager overseeing a portfolio of Mixed Use Residential, Cooperative and Condominium properties in New York. Mr. Sullivan increased revenues by 40 percent while decreases expenses by 32 percent. During his tenure @ Mayerhauser Realty, Mr. Sullivan was also tasked with overseeing all legal and compliance issues for over three thousand units. In which he streamlined the process and cut legal expenses by an astounding 50 Percent.


While in this role Mr. Sullivan also helped expand his small family owned residential portfolio of two seven family buildings to into a much larger real estate company, with assets in the U.S and in Europe.


In 2001 Mr. Sullivan joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves and spent eight years in this position. Mr. Sullivan was in charge of Aviation Logistical Supplies for the KC-130 and Osprey Aircrafts.


In 2012 Mr. Sullivan was hired by NYP/RCP as an Operations Manager for the West Campus. In this role Mr. Sullivan assisted in Capital Construction Projects including all Interior unit renovations and upgrades as well as all exterior renovations. He Project managed over 25 Million in Capital Construction, including roof replacements, replacement of Gas risers, Local Law 11/Façade Restoration, Elevator Modernization, Boiler plant replacements including conversion from oil to gas. Mr. Sullivan created a comprehensive Campus Wide Security survey, detailing program wide upgrades and enhancements and oversaw the implementation and completion of the newly created Campus Wide Security Program. Including new LED lighting throughout building perimeters and interior hallways, installation of 250 strategically placed security cameras, restoration of all existing fire escapes, replacement of concrete entrance ways, courtyards, and rear yards as well as all exterior stairwells to ensure safe entrance and emergency egress.


In his current role of Director of Engineering, Real Estate and Property Management, Mr. Sullivan negotiates all Hospital and NYP-Medical Group Queens strategic acquisitions and or leased transactions and assists in the strategic development of the overall real estate portfolio. Mr. Sullivan is also tasked with the oversight and operation of all NYP Queens off site facility locations.
