Debra Marino is Chief Product Officer at Veriforce. In this role, she directs the strategy for the company’s industry-leading portfolio of products and services, ensuring that Veriforce continues to deliver innovative technology solutions focused on addressing client and market needs. With expertise focused on marketing B2B software and services, Marino joined Veriforce in 2015 and served for four years as Vice President of Marketing, responsible for leading the company’s product management strategy, along with all marketing activities, including product marketing, branding, lead generation, analyst and public relations, and thought leadership efforts.
Prior to joining Veriforce, Marino was VP of Marketing at Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions (formerly Datacert) and is credited with driving the successful launch of Datacert’s flagship product, Passport®, establishing the Datacert as the market leader with industry analysts, and driving the re-branding of Datacert, post-acquisition by Wolters Kluwer. While at Datacert, she also instituted a formal product marketing discipline, based on Pragmatic MarketingTM principles, fostering marketing based in solid understanding of buyer needs.
Marino has over 25 years of experience in technology marketing, including at organizations such as Compaq and Hewlett-Packard. While at Compaq, she was tapped to take a lead role in a spin-off company where she led a product marketing and content team in successfully delivering B2B web-based IT services solutions. At Hewlett-Packard, she led the marketing strategy for the company’s web-based employee portal solution.
Marino holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas.
